PAI INÁCIO HILL

Our tour starts at 4:00 PM from the center of Lençóis, and we will travel 26 km (40 minutes) heading towards Brasília on the BR-242, where we can enjoy many scenic views until we reach our drop-off point. Upon arrival at the access checkpoint, the guide will give a brief introduction about the attraction, and we will begin the hike.
We will ascend for 20 minutes to the plateau of the hill, encountering some stairs, handrails, and many rocks along the way. Once at the top, we will have a 360° view, where we can see the Vale do Cercado, Morro do Camelo, Vale dos 3 Irmãos, Serra da Bacia, and Serra do Brejão.
After the sunset, we will begin the descent via the same route, being cautious and always following the guide’s instructions, as it will be slightly dark due to the time of day. We will return to Lençóis by the same route, and we expect to arrive around 6:30 PM.

Segurança em Pai Inácio Hill

Your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are our priorities. That’s why we work with guides trained in Pre-Hospital Care (APH) and Minimum Conduct Competencies (CMC) courses following ABNT standards, with some also certified in WAFA (check availability). All guides are equipped with first aid kits for remote areas and bring extensive mountain experience.
However, we emphasize that this is not a 100% safe activity, and despite all the precautions, safety measures, and responsibilities we adopt, unforeseen events and accidents may occur. As with most adventure activities in natural environments, there is an element of risk (poisonous animals, falls resulting in fractures or abrasions, storms, floods, general accidents, etc.). Mechanical breakdowns in the transport vehicle may also cause delays or changes in the trip. The chosen itinerary takes place in wild locations where rescue procedures can be delayed (taking over 5 hours to initiate rescue, not included in our reservation services). During the activity, participants must strictly follow the instructions of the agency and guides. For this reason, we stress the critical importance of participants carrying all mandatory equipment listed in the checklist. Failure to bring mandatory equipment will prevent participation in the activity. In this specific trek, there is no rescue or evacuation infrastructure. Rescue is conducted by guides, local emergency teams, and firefighters who travel to the area after receiving the call; the costs of rescue are the responsibility of the participants who made the reservation.
