Safety at Águas Claras
Your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are our priorities. That’s why we rely on guides trained in Pre-Hospital Care (PHC) and Minimum Conduct Competencies (CMC) courses according to ABNT standards, with some guides also certified in WAFA. All guides are equipped with first-aid kits for remote areas and bring extensive mountain experience.
However, please note that this is not a 100% risk-free activity. Despite all precautions, preventative measures, and responsibilities we undertake, unforeseen events and accidents can happen. Like nearly all adventure activities in natural environments, there is an element of risk (venomous animals, falls with fractures and abrasions, storms, flooding, general accidents, etc.). The chosen trip takes place in wilderness locations, where rescue procedures may take time (and may take more than 5 hours to begin, a service not included in our reservation). Mechanical issues with the transport vehicle may also cause delays or alterations to the trip.
