The Experience at Pati Valley
Discover one of the most beautiful treks in the world, located in central Bahia. The Pati Valley is situated at around 1,000 meters of altitude, offering a rich variety of landscapes, from remnants of Atlantic Forest to Rupestrian Fields (high-altitude cerrado) and Open Fields. This region was home to rural settlers about 200 years ago, and today, it houses 14 remaining dwellings that serve as accommodations for visitors and nature lovers.
Our itinerary covers the most iconic spots in the region, such as Morro do Castelo, Cachoeirão, and Mirante da Rampa, as well as alternative locations like Cachoeirão por Baixo, Calixto Waterfall, and the exit at Vale do Capão. This route requires excellent physical condition and the ability to hike for multiple days under adverse weather conditions (sun, rain, slippery and rugged terrain, etc.).
The itinerary may undergo changes due to weather conditions or any force majeure factor deemed important by the organizers.
*This trekking is very dynamic and can be done in several ways due to various entry and exit points, consult all options with our customer service.

However, we emphasize that this is not a 100% safe activity. Despite all the care, precautions, and responsibilities we uphold, unforeseen events and accidents can occur. Like most adventure activities in natural environments, there is an element of risk (venomous animals, falls with fractures and abrasions, storms, floods, general accidents, etc.). The chosen journey takes place in wilderness areas, where rescue procedures can be lengthy (they may take over 5 hours to initiate, and this service is not included in our reservation). Mechanical issues with transportation vehicles can also cause delays or alter the trip.
Therefore, we stress the critical importance of participants bringing all the mandatory equipment listed on the checklist tab. Missing mandatory equipment will prevent participation in the activity.
In the Pati Valley, there is limited infrastructure for rescues and removal with the aid of mules (weight limit of 110 kg). Please contact us for further information.
